Lynzee McKay has been telling stories for as long as they can remember. What started as a childhood love of books eventually grew into a career in journalism and communications, where they spent years telling real stories and connecting with people from all walks of life. Those experiences continue to shape their fiction today.

Lynzee writes contemporary romance with witty banter, emotional depth and happily-ever-afters worth rooting for. Drawing heavily from their background in newsrooms and public relations, their stories often explore life behind the headlines while centering queer characters, found family and the messy, beautiful ways people find love. Above all, they believe the best love stories are the ones that make readers laugh, cry and feel a little less alone.

When they're not writing, Lynzee can usually be found with a book in hand, spending time with their three cats and dog, or daydreaming about their next story. They currently write the Beyond the Byline series and are always working on their next happily-ever-after.
